Shabbat Services

Everyone is welcome.

Beginning in September 2023, B'nai Or Shabbat Services will be held twice monthly, generally one Friday Kabbalat Service and one Shabbat Morning Service. In addition, "Pop-up Shabbats" (short, Friday night services), Havdalah gatherings, and weather permitting, Shabbat in Nature Services are frequently scheduled. The majority of our services are multi-accessible (Zoom and in-person).

Shabbat Service Zoom links can be found on the Calendar page and the information below. In-person services, unless specified otherwise, are held at:

First Parish in Waltham

Covid Guidelines: B'nai Or of Boston In-person Services

  • We expect that everyone is vaccinated, even if not caught up with the newest booster.

  • Do not come if you are feeling ill. Do not rationalize that “it’s just a cold”.

  • If you become ill within 10 days after attending a service/event in person, let the B'nai Or Executive Director know.
